Work, People, Ambition
An online therapy group about work, ambition, power, burnout and staying human among others.
Work is never just work
It is also status, money, shame, envy, competition, authority, fear, desire, fatigue, recognition, belonging - and the old childish hope that someone important will finally say: «You are doing well. I see you. You matter.»
People come to work as adults. With roles, salaries, titles and responsibilities. And then something strange happens. A manager does not praise you - and suddenly you feel like a small child in short trousers. A colleague gets promoted - and you smile politely while something inside you wants to disappear or destroy them. You want to grow, but the next level looks like the same political game with a bigger budget and better lighting.
This group is about that place. The place where work becomes psychological.
Not a career coaching program, not a leadership course, not a networking club. A therapeutic group for people who want to understand what happens to them in work, ambition, authority and relationships. We start from real work situations - and look at what happens underneath:
- Why do I feel like an impostor when everyone else seems adult and competent?
- Why do I want recognition so badly - and feel ashamed of wanting it?
- How do I compete without destroying others or disappearing myself?
- What do I do with envy, greed and ambition?
- Why do I become cold, controlling, pleasing, silent or aggressive at work?
- How do I stay human in a demanding system?
The main value of a group: your patterns do not stay abstract. You do them here - explain, disappear, compete, perform, please, withdraw, want to be seen and fear being seen. And then we can work with it.
Managers, founders, consultants, therapists, coaches and specialists - especially those working in international environments or living between cultures: expats, internationals, digital nomads. People who are successful on the outside, but often tense, ashamed, angry, tired or lonely inside. People tired of understanding everything intellectually while repeating the same relational patterns.
Probably not a good fit if you want a lecture, quick tools and homework, career advice only, or a place to hide and listen. The group is supportive, but not soft in the sentimental sense: real contact includes interest, care, irritation, envy, disagreement and repair.
